Meet the Key Clinical Staff

Ervin (EJ) Davis

Byron Collins, LCSWA

I have worked in the mental health and substance use field for 9 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota; a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina and an Associate’s Degree in Human Services Technology with a concentration in Substance Abuse from Wake Technical College.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in the State of North Carolina. I worked as a Healthcare Technician, Peer Support Specialist and a Shift Supervisor at the Freedom House Detox/Crisis facility in Chapel Hill and Roxboro N.C. for 5 years. I worked at UNC Chapel Hill in the emergency room assessing mental health and substance abuse clients and referring them out in the community for treatment. I worked at the Veteran’s Administration in Anchorage Alaska as a Medical Support Assistant for the Caregiver Support Program, the Transitional Care Program and the Traumatic Brain Injury Program for severely physically and mentally impaired veterans.   I began working at Ariel Community Care LLC as a Peer Support Specialist, then as a Qualified Professional and currently as a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate.
